Theme doesn't look like what I chose.

  Why doesn’t the theme I picked look the same once I use it?
  What I mean by this, is that the theme “Twenty Fourteen” has a very beautiful “Home” page, however when I chose the theme, I have only figured out how to make simple posts, without the cool look the Twenty Fourteen has.
