Theme Editor
-
Hi, I’ve just started using WordPress and its a free version.
I want to go inside a theme editor under appearances but I cannot see it.
Any help would be highly appreciated. -
Hi there,
You’re in the wrong forum. Your site is using the open-source WordPress software and you need to seek help at these forums:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/These forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites only. If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and the WordPress software you can read this document:

Hi there,
The theme editor is not available on WordPress.com.
If you want to make modifications to a theme’s PHP files, you’ll need to create and upload a child theme on our Business Plan.
Or on our Premium Plan you can modify a theme’s appearance by adding custom CSS code.
Please don’t make assumptions. The OP didn’t provide a site URL, so there’s no way to know they’re speaking of a self-hosted WordPress site, and in fact they have two WordPress.com sites in their account. Rather ask someone what site they need help with as a first step, and then go from there.

Thank you @kokkieh and @adarshhalan.
I believe, I should be upgrading to Premium plan as I was planning to add Google Analytics code into the header files which won’t be possible with the free version.

That’s correct, you would need plan Premium to be able to use the Google Analytics feature:
