Theme editor

I’m trying to access the Theme editor, but it doesn’t appear at all under the ‘Appearance’ tab in the dashboard.

Hi there,
Are you working on https://hypercontemporarylit.art.blog/? What exactly are you trying to do?
The theme editor you refer to does not exist on WordPress.com, because we don’t allow editing a theme’s source files directly here.
If you want the ability to modify a WordPress.com theme, you need to do it using a child theme on our Business Plan:

Thank you kokkieh.
That’s the blog I’m working on, and that’s what I had imagined was the problem. I was trying to paste in a Google Analytics global tag.
The bigger problem was that I couldn’t find out that it was restricted to business plans anywhere online! Hence posting on the forum.
Thanks again.

Google Analytics can be used on plan Premium as we have an in-built tool that would allow you to paste the code :) Here’s more information about this:
