  Hi @harishdulhani04, with the free site you can use a customizer for most theme changes. Are you trying to add custom code to the theme instead?

  If you’ll let us know what you’re trying to do, or what you’re trying to add, we can probably point you in the right direction with some best practices tips, too.

  The code you can use on the wordpress.com platform is very limited, https://wordpress.com/support/code/.
  What custom code are you trying to add?
