Theme expert needed – Twenty Eleven

    Hi!

    I really appreciate and like the concept with themes/templates with WordPress but I must say the site lack of good instructions. I know it’s hard to address all questions but why make it so difficult? I’ve set up two blogs and they are both in working mode only. I’m a professional IT person but have problems to find all information/solutions for a number of questions

    To give you all an example:

    – I want to set up a blog that is more of a homepage (static site). One of the menu options will also include a true blog.
    – I started of with the Theme Twenty Ten, then switched to the Duster Theme and now switched to the new Twenty Eleven Theme
    – I had a look at the example site presented by WordPress http://danroundhill.com/

    Questions:

    1. The width on the example site above is much wider than mine, how come? http://gyllving.wordpress.com/
    2. How do I do to integrate the header title in the picture like the example site?
    3. How do I make the corners round like the example site?

    1. Width is normal: yours is narrower because you ave selected the no-sidebar layout.

    2&3 probably via CSS editing. Without the CSS upgrade, what you can do is create an image with the title incorporated in it, upload that image, and select “Display Text”: No (in Appearance>Header).
