Theme featuring clients logo slider client logo page

  Hi all,

  I’m looking for a theme that allows me to have a clients logo slider on the homepage and a page to display all client logos, together with a caption and short description for each client.
  There is no need to have a childpage for each one of them.

  Any idea of which theme could be suitable?

  WordPress.com is a turnkey operation with off the shelf themes which are all found here https://wordpress.com/themes/

  Post sliders are for Posts only; they are not for Pages. And, you cannot add a post slider to any theme that is not designed to have one.

  @timethief: Thanks.

  In fact I am not looking for a Posts slider. I am looking for a premium theme that supports:
  – displaying a slider/carrousel of client logo’s, clients that a particular company served, on the homepage
  – having a clients page in which I provide an overview of all clients, together with a short description of each one of them. One page does suffice, there is no need to have a link to a separate child page for each one of them.
  Up till now, I did not find any theme that allows me to have exactly that. I did not find a portfolio or project page that is appropriate for such a clients page.

  Any premium themes that can be recommended?

  Hi @lauraversteele,

  The slider/carousel is the difficult part of the equation here. Nearly all themes at WordPress.com display sliders with posts as Timethief mentioned. So, you would need to setup the client logos as individual posts, which isn’t exactly what you’re looking for. The second bit (the clients page) could be accomplished in a few different ways.

  Here are some themes that might fit the bill:

  – https://creativethemedemo.wordpress.com/ (Uses portfolio projects to create a homepage slider)

  – https://sketchdemo.wordpress.com/ (Uses portfolio projects in slider as well)

  Have you checked out either of those?

  Thank you for your response and for the tip as well.

  I managed to find a few premium themes that feature a (small) client logo slider on the homepage, such as:

  – “Inovado”: http://themeforest.net/item/inovado-retina-responsive-multipurpose-theme/full_screen_preview/3810895

  I think I will go for the first one and adapt its portfolio page to make it a clients page.

  Hi Laura,

  Just a note, those are third-party themes, not themes at WordPress.com. If you purchase a theme from Themeforest, you will not be able to upload it to WordPress.com. At WordPress.com, you will only be able to use the 350+ themes here:

  http://theme.wordpress.com

  If you would like to use the third-party themes, you would need to setup a self-hosted site using WordPress.org software. The difference is broken down here:
