Theme for a political campaign?

I’m working on a small low-budget political campaign with no programming staff. I’d prefer to use WordPress.com for our website. When I search for a theme for a campaign, though, I don’t find any.
If I use Google to search for WordPress themes for political campaigns, I find a lot of them, but they’re all for self-hosted WordPress sites. I was hoping some of these might be available as premium themes at WordPress.com but I can’t find one.
Would anyone like to suggest one I might have overlooked? Or one that would be easier to modify into a campaign theme? Thanks!

Go to https://theme.wordpress.com/ and click the find a theme button.
There are filters for specific features you can use to narrow your selection of possible themes to browse.Example: 196 Minimal + Responsive Layout WordPress Themes

We have an article that gives some great tips on the theme selection process for businesses, though the concepts really apply to any site.
We also have another article here where different bloggers shared their thoughts on choosing a theme.
Although we don’t have a theme with placeholder images/content targeted towards political campaigns, you could definitely create a campaign site.
Without knowing what sort of design elements or features you’re looking for, we won’t be able to do a great job of helping you find a theme, but here are a few I found that you might consider:
