Theme Functions (Niche Pro)

So my problem is that I’ve tried many methods to change the font of my blog title and one of them was to insert a CSS code on functions.php. Once I clicked on ‘Update File’ this message popped up: ‘Unable to communicate back with site to check for fatal errors, so the PHP change was reverted. You will need to upload your PHP file change by some other means, such as by using SFTP.’ and the appearance of my blog changed massively. I tried to deactivate all my plugins,even use Health Check and I don’t know what else to to. Fortunately I have a copy of the initial functions.php of my website on my laptop,but the same message appears if I try to copy & paste it. I would appreciate all your help!

You can also contact your theme author to get help in including the font files in your functions.php file.
