Theme Header

  1. I have a blog theme that supports a custom header but the custom header I have uploaded will not show on my blog. The theme is Goran.

  2. Some of my blog followers are having trouble finding me as they are unable to use the url without .wordpress.com at the end.
  I paid my blog fee in August for the domain name and upgrades.

  Hi there!

  Are you trying to make your page look like the Goran Demo page?

  If you are, then you will need to set up the Front Page Template as seen here under Front Page Template:

  http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/goran/

  Note that the Custom Header that you are seeing here is actually the Featured Image of that post.

  I’m sorry about the confusion (I was a bit at first as well). If you don’t want a Front Page, and just an image at the top it may be better to apply a Site Logo by going to Appearance > Customize in your Dashboard. If you go to the same support page for Goran that I provided you above, you will see it under Site Logo.

  As for the Custom Header, please note that is only for Pages without a Featured Image. Please view below about the difference between Pages and Posts:

  Thank you so very much, Grace.
  The information has been very helpful to me.
  Unfortunately, when I applied it, I didn’t like the final results.
  I have a business. When I, and if, I decide to start a blog for my business I will consider this theme. I’ve copied and saved the instructions for me to go back and look at when I do decide.

  I switched to the theme Isola. I’m still working on it. My perfectionism is taking over so I am playing with it to get it right.
