  I can’t activate my theme.

  Hi there,

  Here’s the steps to activate your theme.

  1. Click the Themes link in the Appearance menu.

  2. Hover your mouse over the thumbnail image of the theme you want to use and click it.

  3. Click “Activate this design” button.

  4. Click “Activate(theme name)” button.

  Yes, I’ve already tried that. I get an ERROR message that says “Unable to activate them.”

  Hi there,

  We’re limited in how we can help because we don’t actually host your site on WordPress.com. Your host, Bluehost, uses a different version of the WordPress platform and we don’t have access to your server files.

  Also it’s not possible to upload themes on WordPress.com unless you have our WordPress.com Business Plan (which you do not) and that was my other clue that you may be hosted elsewhere.

  The good news however is that you can still get help for your site, we’re just not able to provide that help unless you host with us directly. To get a hand with your issue you can:

  – Ask for help at the community forums at https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/
  – Contact your theme provider to see if they can offer installation support.
