Theme Home Page Not Loading – Question Mark Appears

  3 times I bought OPTI THEME and it worked perfectly on my 3 previous WordPress blogs. Now I have bought it a 4th time and put it on ‘sufimasters1.wordpress.com’ and the top page doesn’t load. I do see it for a mili-second and then the center of the screen goes to a tiny Question Mark. I have tried reloading it. Dumping almost everything but still that Questions Mark stays on the top page. As I navigate to my categories it works fine. HELP

  That’s a broken image error. Try editing the page to reinsert the image?

  I tried loading a new image on this page and when I played the page I saw the new image for a fraction of a second and then the question mark. When I first starting getting these question marks I tried emtying my Library of my the one image I had. Hoping it would correct itself. Now I have only one image in my library the new one I just put up that i see for a mili-second.

  So looking again at sufimasters1.wordpress.com I only see the broken image icon on the front page and trying to open the image link to sufimasters1.files.wordpress.com/2013/07/screen-shot-2013-07-23-at-6-57-10-am2.png in a new browser tab leads to a 404 Not Found error. There is another image at the bottom of the page, just above the comments that is coming through.

  Did you get any kind of error when you uploaded the PNG image?

  Please also have a look at http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/troubleshooting-images/ particularly the info on color profiles.

  @rain, It’s in my reply just above yours. Leads to a 404.

  I dumped the one image in my library. Loaded up another image there. And then from the Library inserted it into the page. I never got any error messages on the png upload.

  In that case I recommend you head over to the Premium theme forum that you have access to as a part of the purchase price of Opti, which is a Premium theme. You can get help there from the theme author. http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/opti

  Make sure you are logged in with the username that purchased the theme in order to post.
