  I would like to see a theme with a big custom image header, two widgets (one on both side), sort of like the garland theme, just with a custom image header.

  I second this! Garland is a great theme (in fact I use it right now) but the lack of custom image header is a huge flaw!

  well, it’s great you have an idea of your ideal theme, but wordpress doesn’t exactly create themes for the users here. you can however go searching of readymade themes, place the link here for other wordpressers to have a look. but best bet is to send the links to feedback where the wordpress team will take a look for sure, because not all threads in the forums are monitored.

  Staff has suggested to send in theme suggestions in via feedback as well. They have stated that they keep tabs on what gets requested.
