I think the theme have more spaces between sidebar and header.
The designer can talk if the theme is this form anyway or really became strange after “Block-based Widgets” implement of the new wordpress.com version?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there, I’m not sure I see the issue: the demo site doesn’t widgets on it so I don’t have much to compare it to. I wouldn’t be terribly surprised if block based widgets displayed _slightly_ differently, but in using inspect element I’m not really seeing big changes here.
Can you send more details?
Also, we have had some folks say that grouping any widget titles with the widget block makes a slight difference in appearance, if you want to try that.
