Theme Install

  I have purchased a custom WordPress theme from Themeforest, but when I go to install it, I do not have the “install theme” tab as an option under the “Appearance > Themes” tabs.

  I bought the bundled premium subscription and just need help installing my theme. Do I need to host the wordpress blog elsewhere, or can you help me do it within the wordpress admin panel?

  I’m sorry, but themes can’t be uploaded to WordPress.com. That’s a feature of self-hosted blogs through WordPress.org.

  You may use any of the available themes we have under Appearance in your dashboard. If you are CSS-savvy, you may want to look into purchasing the Custom CSS Upgrade to customize one of the themes we offer:

  Ok awesome, thank you so much for clarifying that for me and responding so quickly. My last question now, is whether or not there is a way to transfer my subscriptions that I already paid for to another hosting account (with my domain) to a wordpress.org, or if I should just delete my site and cancel my subscriptions and start from scratch at one of your suggested hosting sites.

  It’s not possible to transfer the Value Bundle to a different hosting provider. Your best bet would be to cancel the Value Bundle, except for your domain, since canceling a domain means you may not be able to get it back in the future.

  This means that we can cancel and refund the remainder of your Bundle upgrade, but leave your domain in place.

  Once you purchase hosting, you can then point your WordPress.com-registered domain to your new hosting provider by following this guide:
