Theme install

    I have a question about downloading a theme to WordPress. I downloaded this theme off color bib and it says you have to connect with HTML which I don’t have much experience with and I need someone to install it for me.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello @idealistic101,

    I understand that your blog is currently running on a free plan, which does not allow you to upload or install custom themes.

    I am posting below a relevant query response from a staff member on similar post I found in the support forum.

    Uploading a third-party or custom theme is possible only on self-hosted sites using the WordPress.org software. This means that you cannot upload any themes to your WordPress.com site.

    You have two options:

    1. Purchase the Premium or Business plan for your blog, which includes a Custom Design feature that allows you to edit the look and feel of any theme available on WordPress.com

    2. Move your WordPress.com blog to a host that supports WordPress and upload any theme you like. Take a look to some hosts here.
