Theme is not applying as shown

    Hello,

    I’m new to wordpress and have also signed up for the css feature. When trying to apply a theme, I’m able to preview the theme and it looks great, but when I view my site, it’s not exactly as shown in the preview. A friend was helping me sign up for css and explore a bit. It seems as though we may have edited or set something up that is remaining as a default and overwriting parts of the theme. my blog is bewitchedby.wordpress.com. Thank you for any assistance or advice.

    Jennifer,

    I already know that since you have the CSS upgrade that things will be a little different for you! First off, just applying a theme will not look right on your page because you need the full URL’s for the images used in the theme. As well, you have to switch to the theme, copy the original CSS sheet for that theme and post that into the CSS editor and choose ‘just use this and start from scrath’ or whatever it says.

    If we get that far, I can show you what URL’s you need in the CSS to get you back up and going!
