Theme Live Preview not working

I’m actually using Coraline theme and I’d like to try a different one (Quest or Oceanic). I’ve downloaded them, but when I click on Live Preview button I just get the “hourglass” rolling for hours with no outcome. WP promises: “You can also find a Live Preview button at the bottom of the theme details screen. Any installed theme can be previewed and customized in this way.
The theme being previewed is fully interactive — navigate to different pages to see how the theme handles posts, archives, and other page templates. The settings may differ depending on what theme features the theme being previewed supports. To accept the new settings and activate the theme all in one step, click the Save & Activate button above the menu.”
Not my experience! I’m running WP 4.3 on my Mac. Any ideas?

As yours is a self-hosted WordPress.org based site, could you post your question to Coraline theme specific forum at WordPress.org forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/theme/coraline
