Theme Losing Connection to Social Media

Dear Sirs,
I have been using a Customized Fontfolio Theme for some months. In recent weeks I have noticed that the theme/site seems to randomly lose visible connection to Facebook and Twitter.
Usually, the logos for both of these social media sites, which are displayed top-left on the home page, are connected via the ‘customize’ interface and shown at all times. For some strange reason, almost every day the logos disappear and I am thus forced to use the customize interface again to reconnect them. As soon as I connect them they show and then at some point later on they go again!
Very strange!
Do you have any idea how I can fix this?

Hi Mike!
Currently, it looks like you do not have any services connected to Publicize in your Sharing settings shown here:
https://kindnessblogdotcom1.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=sharing
In order for the Sharing options to display, the social networks will need to be connected via Publicize. Can you try connecting them and enabling the social media icons again? I’d like to see this in action.

Thank you for the response! Much appreciated.
As far as I know, the social networks have been connected via publicize for some considerable time. I’ve just checked again and I’m seeing that Facebook is connected, Google+ is connected and Twitter is connected to two different accounts (as it should be). Tumblr, Path and LinkedIn are not connected and that is also correct.
This leads me to wondering if we are seeing the same thing?

That is a bit odd. Currently, I don’t see any services connected on your Sharing settings:
Can you try disconnecting the services on your side and reconnecting them? If you could, please disconnect all services first. Then, reconnect all of the necessary ones. Let me know once you’re finished!

As advised, I disconnected all the social services first and then reconnected them one by one… http://imgur.com/QPknM5O
The home page was not showing the logos, so I connected them via the ‘customize’ interface and, as I type this, they are displaying correctly.
Now it’s just a case of seeing if they will stay there! :)

I’ve just checked and whilst the settings show my social connections are still ‘connected’, the two logos (one for FB & one for Twitter) top left on my theme have disappeared again! :(

I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. It looks like this is a larger issue (not just with the Fontfolio theme). Our developers are looking into this, and I’ll get back to you with an answer as soon as possible!

Hi Mike,
This issue should be fixed now. Can you try to reset your options in the Customizer (re-select the social profiles) and let me know if the items disappear again?

I followed your instructions on Mar 26, 2014 and am pleased to confirm that, since then, the issue has not reoccurred!
