Theme Makers?

  Hey there… my technical knowledge is emabarassingly limited so I apologize if I sound… stupid :)

  My question is this: I really wanna take my blog to the next level and give it a really nice theme. The problem is, I am not sure if I really can code one myself and wordpress.org seems too complicated for me…

  So I was wondering if there are any websites out there that offer to make customized themes?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  WordPress.ORG has over 1,200 free Themes on their site, many great ones, many that have the ability to change the look and feel without any programming. You will need to learn about being a webmaster and updating the software etc.

  So would that be possible with someone who knows only basic html?

  As auxclass said, you will need to know about being a webmaster, so that includes not just HTML, but also PHP, CSS, FTP, etc.

  You can customise your wordpress.COM site with the CSS upgrade. It isn’t possible to change the underlying code but a lot of styling can be done. If you want some examples search for wordpress.com/sandbox skins. Both my sites here use the custom CSS upgrade and the Sandbox 1.6.1 theme.
