Theme messed up

  Hello all,
  My blog, 2ndamendmentlove.wordbress.com has the quentin theme, but recently it is very messed up. the titles of the posts don’t show up and the calendar and tag and category section isn’t there either. I tried changing themes and the problem moves to the new theme as well. Any support would be great.

  You mean: http://2ndamendmentlove.wordpress.com/ ? It does indeed look messed up. I would bet it’s the copy/paste. Don’t copy/paste from Word or elsewhere on the Web without first pasting it into Notepad or Wordpad using Paste Special -> Remove Formatting. Otherwise, you’re grabbing tons of invisible HTML and eventually it messes up your blog.

  For now, try going to each one and Edit, and then click the last icon on the right to get the advanced toolbar and use the little broom icon to clean up your code. Hopefully that’ll help.

  And don’t put any formatting in your titles. Just type in plain text.

  I don’t have either of those applications on my mac. Any advice?

  Find a simple text editing program that doesn’t add HTML and use that. I’m sure Mac has something with similar functionality.
