Theme Museum
-
I´m working on a blog with the theme Museum.
https://museumdemo.wordpress.com/
I have four posts running two on each row.
I want one at the top running over the two columns.
I am looking for “featuring post” but I cannot find anything. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Have you consulted the detailed theme description page set up instructions at https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/museum/ ?

I tried to find something about this on the link but could not find anything. I have used featuring post on theme Sketch and there it said that I should use “featured” on those posts I wanted at the top, but I have tried that and it does not work at Museum.

The way featured posts are handled in any theme is defined by the theme’s designer and you cannot change it. Go back to https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/museum/ and scroll down to “Featured Images”.

All it says there is:
Museum looks best when you assign a Featured Image to each post. On the blog page, Featured Images appear side-by-side in a grid, as a background to the post header information. But actually I am looking for featuring posts. I get the four pics, but not the big one at the top. Then I guess I have to put some kind of word anywhere to get it at the top.

No, it does not work!
Now I have posted old pics from Oahu in 920×920 and post No 4 is sticky.

This problem is caused by some incorrect settings on your site. You’ve selected a static page for your front page, but then you haven’t chosen a specific front page to display:

If you want your site to look like the Musuem demo, select the radio button next to “Your latest posts” instead of “A static page” and then save your settings, and you should be good to go.
Let me know how it goes.
