Hi there!
Can you let us know which site you’re trying to activate that theme on so we can take a closer look? Once we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise.
Thanks,

Ok thanks for confirming!
It looks like at one point you had a Business subscription, which allowed you to install plugins (and what gave you that
wpcomstagingURL), but since you don’t have that plan anymore, that’s likely why you’re running into trouble with that theme install.Normally when we revert a former Business subscription site, we need to revert it to the state that it was in prior to the upgrade. However, it looks like you have a recent post that I’m going to assume you want to keep?
If so we need your confirmation that you understand that we’re going to revert your site which means your site URL will revert back to
lisajoer.wordpress.com.If you can confirm you’re OK with that, we can proceed.
Thanks!

Thank you for the confirmation. I’ve reverted the site, and everything should be working correctly now.
Please take a moment to verify if all the content is there (e.g., posts, pages, media).
Your site is also currently set to private. This means the general public cannot see it. The site’s privacy setting can be changed to Public or Coming Soon under My Site > Settings.

Sorry, for some reason every time i try to access my domain “lisajoer.wordpress.com”, i cant seem to get to it directly. How can i get this solved please and thank you!
-
Oh, what do you mean by that? When I go to https://lisajoer.wordpress.com/, your site opens up correctly on my end. What happens when you go to that address?
Or is the issue elsewhere on your account? Let us know, we’ll be happy to take a look and advise. -
This is the message that pops up everytime i try to visit my site. “Something unexpected happened while accessing this website. It looks like it doesn’t have an active domain connection upgrade to link the requested domain name to the WordPress.com site.
If this is your domain name and it has recently stopped working, it’s possible that your plan or domain may have expired. Please log in to your WordPress.com account and review the status of your plan and domain. “

That message would only show if you tried to load your site using a custom domain name without an upgrade. Your site hasn’t used
lisajoer.comin nearly a year, so that wouldn’t have any impact.Try clearing your browser cache, then try https://lisajoer.wordpress.com/ again.
If you’re still having this problem, please take a screenshot of the problem in question – please make sure you include the address bar of your browser showing the URL of the page you’re visiting.
If you’re not familiar on how to take a screenshot, this support document will help explain how to make one:
Then, use a service like Snipboard.io to upload the screenshot and then share the image link from that service here and we’ll take a closer look.
Thanks!

I cleared my cache as you suggested and it worked. Thanks again very much. I truly appreciate it!
