Theme not formatting text, just wrapping…
-
“The theme you are using shows an “excerpt” in the category views, which means it strips out all formatting and images and such. That is how the theme was designed and there is no way to change that.”
So on my homepage wickedmellow.com I’m working on a new site, and because of my theme on the front page text is wrapped and white space removed in the “excerpt” view, but if you click the link for the full page there is formatted text with line breaks. Where in my theme do I need to be poking around to make frontpage views of my posts force the same formatting I wanted for it in both views. I don’t mind if it cuts off at some point, but I need it not to jam all the lines together with no breaks.
THANKS!

That’s built into the theme and not tinkerable at WordPress.com. You can with the CSS upgrade change the look of the blog, but you can’t change the way it functions.

Hello there,
The blog wickedmellow.com is not a free hosted wordpress.com blog. It’s a wordpress.ORG install. You can confirm this by clicking the “powered by wordpress” link in the footer and you will arrive here http://wordpress.ORG This means you are posting to the wrong support forum and we cannot help you. WordPress.COM blogs and wordpress.org installs operate on different code. The correct support forum to get support for that blog is here > http://wordpress.ORG/supportFor more clarity please read the sticky post at the head of this forum or the summary provided by Staff in the support documentation.
