Theme not working

  I downloaded the theme but when I clicked on THEME, CUSTOMIZE it doesn’t show or seem to work.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  What theme is this in reference to? I do not see any activity under your account regarding a theme update – are you referring to activating a site with ecoreddot.wordpress.com? Or is this for a self-hosted site not connected to WordPress.com?

  ecoreddot.wordpress.com – Yes

  I refer to the free download themes. I have not connected my domain as I am on the fence on whether to sign up for Wix.com or WordPress.

  Wix is very very user friendly. You just click on any theme and you can start modifying. For WordPress, I kept downloading the themes to customize but it still shows the simplified version.

  However, you’ll be stuck with that theme forever, as Wix does not allow you to change themes later on like we do.

  For WordPress, I kept downloading the themes to customize but it still shows the simplified version.

  The “Download” link on WordPress.com theme pages are to download the self-hosted version of the theme if you want to use it on a stand-alone WordPress site hosted at another provider.

  To use a theme on your WordPress.com site, don’t download it. Instead, click on the Activate option to immediately apply the theme to your site.
