theme options

  I am unable to find the theme options tab to customize. I am using tutorials online and they all say to find the theme options you have to go to dashboard>appearance>theme options. under appearance, there is now theme options to click on. I am unable to customize my website and keep it up to date.

  This is WordPress.com. It sounds like you are looking at instructions that apply to sites hosted elsewhere that use the wordpress installation. Here you’d use the Customizer.

  Not all themes have theme options, so this would depend on the specific theme you’re using.

  On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com.

  If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, please contact support for the theme you’re using directly for help with this.
