  I am a new travel blogger and I am in the process of choosing a theme. I recently chose the Gateway theme. I would like it to appear as it is featured on the live demo however I am having difficulties making the header page big. I followed the instruction as indicated for the theme i.e. (creating a home page on pages and changes the attributes to home page) however it doesn’t appear big like the demo. It shows a little snippet of the image. How can I rectify this?

  Every theme has a detailed theme description page and this one is at https://wordpress.com/theme/gateway That’s where set up instructions for it are found and link to the live demo site.

  Abstract and decorative background images will work best as Custom Header images. The recommended header size for Gateway is 2560 pixels wide by 640 pixels high.
