Theme Oxygen: Static Functions WITH latest posts??

  Iwould like to have the combined oxygen design with static fucntion (featured slide show) and recent posts like u can see here:

  But I am just able to choose either static function or latest posts. How to make my recent posts visible using the static function?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
