theme patch – differentiate between posts
-
Hello,
I am considering to buy the patch theme for a costumer’s magazine site. I show it to her and she liked it She liked it a lot, but had two comments:
Is there a way to access the chronology of the posts. Can be a separate session/page, just devoted to that? maybe archive?
2. Is there a way to differentiate between 3 categories of the posts already in the landing page? maybe when hovering on a post the text colour will be different for each category? or a another symbol with a different colour for each post depends on its category?
thanks

All WordPress.com sites include date archives that you can link to in different ways, such as via a menu link or widget. For example, you can see view the 2015 archive on the Patch demo here:

That type of tweak could definitely be done with custom CSS, a feature available with the Premium or Business plan.

timethief – folks who haven’t yet purchased a premium theme don’t yet have access to the premium forum, so WordPress.com staff are happy to answer pre-sales questions here. :)

timethief – cool. Just fyi there’s no need to tag separately for “theme staff” as that’s not a tag we follow, but we do look at every thread in the Themes forum, as well as everything marked with modlook, of course. :)
