Theme: Payton- change primary menu
-
Hi,
Is there a way to change the location of the primary menu at the top of my page? It just doesn’t look natural sitting at the top. Is there a method to incorporate a primary menu that used the three stacked horizontal lines which displays the primary menu when clicked? Any other options to display the primary navigation menu?
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @samecote, sure. Can you access this page?
https://wordpress.com/site-editor/scotecreative.comIf so, click on your menu. You should see an outline that fits tightly around your menu items. That’s your navigation block. Click the gear icon on the right, and you should see an Overlay setting.
You’ll just choose to display that icon always.

That worked perfectly! Thank you very much for your help :)
Is there also a way to temporarily remove the Blog from my main navigation menu? I tried editing it in the Appearance: Menus section, but it doesn’t seem to be working.

Hi @samecote,
In the site editor, under the navigation block, you have a page list block. This will show all of your published pages.
In this case, I recommend that your Blog page isn’t set to show your latest posts, which can be changed by going to Appearance → Customize → Homepage Settings, and then unpublish the page in the meantime.
I hope that helps!
