Theme – Plugin button is missing

I have spent 2 hours before this email trying to fix the problem. Here is my question/issue.

I am hosting my wordpress blog at GoDaddy. I want to use custom themes for my blog in wordpress. I correctly installed the theme-switcher-reloaded file correctly to my host.

The issue is that there is NO plugin on my wordpress dashboard. In the wordpress help files it said that if I hosted my blog on another server, I could use my custom uploaded themes. Can you please help me enable my custom theme for my blog?? Thank you VERY much!

  • You purchased a domain from GoDaddy, but you’re still mapping it to your WordPress.com blog.

If you want to use plugins and your own themes, you’ll need to get a hosting account (through GoDaddy is one option) and install WordPress from http://wordpress.org/ then direct your domain back to your hosting account.
