Theme problem
-
My site is DontWasteAiken.wordpress.com or, as re-directed to, DontWasteAiken.com. I’ve activated, cleared cache, everything to select the “Book Lite” theme, but no matter what it continues to display as it looks now, by viewing DontWasteAiken.com — a completely different theme. I’ve built several more intricate sites through WordPress and have racked my brain trying to figure out what the problem is as to why the theme is not properly activating. I can’t even edit it because it’s not linking up as I’m wanting it to look. Please help.

Hi there – since your domain is currently pointing to a self-hosted site at GoDaddy, running WordPress.org software, any change you make in your WordPress.com dashboard is not being reflected at http://dontwasteaiken.com.
If your goal is to have your WordPress.com site displayed when you get to the domain dontwasteaiken.com, then you’ll need to log into your GoDaddy domain registration panel and update the name servers for dontwasteaiken.com to point to these:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.comIf you have any email addresses set up on dontwasteaiken.com, before you update your name servers, please read the heads-up about email in our guide to mapping an existing domain.
Just let me know if you need further help.
