I want to undo the theme, but there is no way. I changed it again, but changing will not bring back my site. My site looks like a demo, its ruined. I have all my post backed up however, so its not like it gone, but the comments from other are gone.

  • Hi –

The site content will still be on the back end, it’s just not showing through on the front end because the theme needs to be set up and customized.

Looking back at the logs I can see that you’ve used True, Jackson, and Freddie recently. Do you know which one of those themes you want to go back to?

You’ll be able to search for them in the showcase to see the demo sites too.

I am not happy I have a theme that works right now but I don’t like that banner that I asked people to gift me a paid membership because I have a paid membership I’m not broke this is embarrassing to me. Can you please remove that banner what if someone gives me this and then they’re mad at me because it didn’t really count and they just lost their money ? I can’t go back to my previous theme that used to work because I can’t find it anymore but I liked having a column so people could you categories because it’s a general interest blog. It’s got hundreds of posts on it thousands of likes.

If you don’t fix this, I’m gonna write a big noticed that said don’t give me a paid membership. I have a paid membership and WordPress is scamming you.

Oh, now you’ve done it and I’m keeping the Scam notice up there until you remove that banner and as far as I’m concerned, it’s gonna just stay there forever and then everyone will know that you’re scamming them. I don’t care because it’s not making me look bad it’s making you look like Frauds.

I don’t believe this I have a paid Plan and you still put that banner there. I definitely am never going to renew. I hate you guys so much I’m finished with you forever.

you realize this is a custom domain how dare you do this to me this is the most insulted I’ve ever been.

Now I’m definitely never renewing my WordPress plan and I’m keeping that up and it’s gonna say that to you forever. It’s gonna say that you are a scam and I don’t want anyone to buy me anything. I have two more months I have two more months left before you could even dare to put a scam a banner up on my site. I am ad free, but yet I’m not getting the money to be ad free because you put a nasty banner on my side. I hate you guys so much. This is totally and completely unacceptable.

I cannot make the categories appear on the sidebar it’s really important that I get the categories back. I followed all the steps to get the categories back. The categories are still not visible

You put a banner on my website even though I have two more months left I want a refund for the two months. What you did it’s obviously something that was deliberate and evil and ruined my website.

Hello there! Our thread replies follow the oldest to newest order, and each reply resets your position in our queues. The delay was unintentional.

Firstly, let’s address the banner you mentioned. Are you referring to this specific one?

If that’s the case, it’s not something we manually add. It appears because you enabled that feature in your site’s General Settings page.

To remove it, simply toggle it off and save your changes. You can find more information about the Gift Subscription options here: https://wordpress.com/support/gift-a-wordpress-com-subscription/

Now, regarding your sidebar, you just need to add a Category Widget to your Widgets. Currently, there are no widgets set there, which is why the theme doesn’t show a sidebar. Could you try adding the Category List Block to Appearance -> Widgets and see if that resolves the issue?

I hope this clears things up! Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or need assistance with anything else.
