Theme: Problem While Previewing

  Hello everyone,

  I did choose WP for one reason: I do not speak mysql, css, html, php or whatever else and need a lovely & simple page for my blog. Apperently I’m even too dumb for this as well, since the preview of a (free) theme doesn’t look the same on my blog.

  Thing is: I see a theme, like it, click “preview” and get totally impressed. I want it on my site, so I click on “try” and it looks all awful.
  What am I doing wrong?

  Hi Stefania,

  basically it’s every theme so far I tried to use and it didn’t work out well.
  If you wish, I can take some time to find the one I’d like to have and so we could try.

  I’d appreciate that a lot!

  Hi there,

  Yes please! That would be brilliant as many themes have different ways for being customised, so the processes may vary and it’d be better to pick themes one-by-one to see what you’d like to accomplish and how to do it, if that makes sense to you :)

  Hi Nastasja! If there’s a certain look you’re going for or features you like, let us know and we can try to suggest some themes for you. :)

  Or you can browse the theme options (https://wordpress.com/themes/), add one to your site, and then we can work on getting you set up.
