Theme Question I'm new please help!

  I’m opening up a restaurant in a couple weeks and want to have a website complete. I bought this template for WordPress and am trying to install it but I don’t know how. I’ve seen many forums saying you no longer can, yet I still see so many templates for sale out there. Could it be because I’m on a free account right now?   That is not a blog hosted by WordPress.COM. Our WordPress.COM support docs do not relate to WordPress.ORG software, and we cannot provide support for it. You are posting to the wrong support forum.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.   If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

  So did i just download a theme for wordpress.org, is it the same software? Do you believe I can still use this theme for my restaurant? I have a domain that I’d link it with via GoDaddy. Sorry if this is a really poor question but I’m going to make this right and with your help I’d really like to hear what you have to say. Thank you so much again and I’m very sorry for posting this in the wrong place, I will delete it tonight.

  The theme seller has an option to install the theme for me for $50.

  The only themes we can use on WordPress.com blogs like your blog are licensed and adapted to run on our multiuser software the themes are found here http://wordpress.com/themes/

  There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs for security reasons and we cannot:
  upload any third party themes,
  create child themes,
  create our own themes,
  edit templates,
  create own own layouts,
  or use stylesheets from other themes.

  There is no upgrade you can purchase that changes that. WordPress.org offers free software that you can install on a web server. You can create themes, upload and install themes and plugins, run ads, and edit the database, etc. If you want FTP access and to install plugins or third party themes into a site then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install.
