Theme Recommendations

I want to recommend this theme again, because I think its the best theme that wordpress staff needs to be working on, or at least something close to this theme.
I installed this on my self-hosted blog today and I see why the folks at WP.com haven’t put this theme here. We definitely need some magazine styled themes here but they are complicated to work with.

Not a new theme recommendation, but an old theme improvement: Is it possible that the theme DePo Masthead will include the AUTHOR’s name underneath the post’s title? Currently, it shows only the CATEGORY and DATE/TIME but not the AUTHOR.
Readers usually look for the name of the author right at where the post’s category is displayed.
Perhaps there’s a trick in CSS that can do this?

Hi all, would it be a problem to offer two versions of most (or even all) themes – one with full content and one with excerpts? I find displaying of full content rather hard for users to orientate when average text is long.

Please roll out some new themes??? I would love more that have *serif* fonts for easier reading, along with more custom header options. And more BLACK fonts?
