My vote is for Garden. Custom header, four columns, widgets ready, elegant and beauty.

No theme developer will read a thread this big, but just in case, here goes. Any new theme should have the built-in ability to generate automatic permalinks, and perhaps social bookmarking buttons too.

And, for those of us using simpler themes who have been adding those features by hand to each post, and who don’t want such things duplicated if we adopt a new theme, those automatically-generated features should have a start-date option that says something like: “Do this starting with posts dated ______.”

Hi all! Please help me, I like the theme “Temp 16 1.0 by Gomvents” very murch, could I use the theme in wordpress.com? could I use the them in the future? or may I pay for the theme to use it? I use the them with wp.org here: http://eternaldiamond.thanhanhwood.com/

I have doubts that the staff actually still reads this thing, but hey, it wouldn’t hurt to try so…

I’d like to suggest the theme called Balance found in this site:

I’m really not sure if anyone else has recommended the same thing (sorry if that’s the case!). I think all the info you’ll need is found on the same site… it also provides a screenshot of the theme:

I see a million suggestions in these comments and only 50 available themes. I nearly left WP this week for the dreaded blo–er because of it’s 100% HTML/CSS capability and the plethora of free themes out there as a base in blo–er.

I have stayed though because WP and the WP community are simply so superior. So, please, just give us more themes and specifically give me Modern Clix. I’d even pay an annual fee to be able to use additional themes.

As asked above, does staff still read this thread?
