Custom headers’ It would be great if the text in there could be more customised as well as the photo. For example, size, font type, and location in the area.
Also, I crave a good theme with top of the page page navigation. I want my readers to be able to flick to the next or previous article without having to do a lot of scrolling. This presumably keeps them on the blog longer, improves traffic, and makes readers happy. I’ve changed to K2 to get this functionality, but its not the theme I think is prettiest. I like Mistylook. But it lacks that navigation.
Maybe top of page page navigation could be a customisable option for all themes?

I agree that this would be a real boon. Some blog titles (names) are long and don’t “fit” simply because we cannot adjust the size of the font. There are also cases where one might prefer to have the title left aligned or right aligned, rather than center aligned.
Also, I crave a good theme with top of the page page navigation.
Did you know that Monochrome, iNove, Neutra, Sandbox 1.6.1, and Titan all have dropdowns to child pages from parent pages in the top horizontal menu?

OOPS! I forgot that the newest theme called Inuit Types also has dropdowns to child pages from parent pages in the top horizontal menu.

Would it be possible to have a 3 column theme kinda like the Digg 3 Column but with the flexibility of the Vigilance theme? It would really be nice to have the posts display in between the two sidebars.
