  Hello,

  I was writing about getting a refund on the theme I just accidentally bought. Is it possible to get a refund?

  You can get a refund for plans and other purchases if you cancel within 30 days of your purchase.

  Hi kerrylynchtheatre,

  Your account shows you disputed the premium theme payment and PayPal issued a chargeback against us — this is a fraud prevention tool and therefore shouldn’t be used for requesting a refund. When a chargeback is issued, the payment is locked pending investigation from PayPal.

  We are unable to issue a refund from our side while a dispute is active but if you cancel it, we’ll be happy to look at a refund. Requests to cancel disputes through the PayPal Resolution Centre are placed in a queue so it is often quicker to call them instead.

  Let me know when you’ve done so and I can check whether this change has been reflected on our system. The chargeback fee you paid can also be refunded if the dispute is successfully cancelled.
