Theme Reset
-
Hi Support,
I have done too much editing on my site and would like to reset my PATCH theme to its default.
I do not have any posted content as yet and so I would appreciate if assistance could be provided on how to reset the theme to its default.
If it is not possible for me to do so by myself, please would you take care of the reset process for me and set the default to the PATCH theme. Many thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

1. Go to tools -> database reset (careful this cant be undone, you might do a backup). If you dont want to reset the whole db you have to delete the settings which your theme set in the db manually, which is a bit tricky,
2. Delete the theme you want to reinstall
3. reinstall itKind regards

Hey there @donovancommandeur17541, since you won’t have access to your database here, staff can help you if needed.
You don’t have content, so are you hoping to reset the colors of the site? You can do that through Customizer > Colors and Backgrounds.
If you want to reset so that the front page shows the latest posts, you can do that under Customize > Homepage settings too.
@777sean, please note free site users will not have direct access to their database on our servers. You might be thinking of individual installations of WordPress, which are different from our service:
