theme selection

I originally updated the background photo from my local drive. however, I clicked theme selection by mistake to make page looks messy.. how shall I restore to its original design?

I admit that I’m not clear on whether or not you are asking how to replace the image or how to revert to a theme you used previously.
We have a theme customizer that allows us to preview themes so we can see what they are like prior to switching.

The default theme on every new site is Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.com/theme/twentyseventeen
If you know the previous theme name type it in here https://wordpress.com/themes/
