Theme template

  Hello, I have a problem with positioning the template for the front page. I am currently using Further theme and two days ago it was working perfectly. Now when I put the template to Full width it does not go to full width but it stays with the default template. How do I fix it?

  Hi there!

  You currently don’t have a Front Page set on your cafemeza site. Here’s a reference on setting up and assigning your Front Page:

  As long as the page you use for the Front Page is using the full width page template, it should work for you.

  Let me know if you still have trouble.

  Thank you csonnek.
  The thing is that I had it assigned to a static front page and it did not work. That’s why I removed it from there and not it goes to full width. But I still do not understand why it did not want to do that when it was assigned to a Front page.

  Without knowing what page you had set to use as your front page, I can’t really answer that! Can you let me know what page you were using and I can take a look?

  I had set “Hjem” for front page and “Ris &ros” for posts, as it is set now. Also there is one more thing that I don’t understand… When I am editing “Ris &ros” page and click on “Preview changes” it sends me to page “Hjem” which is not on the menu, but is with full width.

  Thanks for that information!

  I see that you did set up the Hjem page correctly. I wasn’t sure why this wouldn’t work, so I chatted with the theme developer and at this time, it’s not possible to use a full width page template as your Front Page.

  I’ve submitted a request to add this ability, but as I don’t know if or when this will be added, I don’t have a good solution for you at this time.

  If you’re not happy with this theme, you are within 30 days of purchase and you can always request a full refund by going to Store -> My Upgrades in your site’s dashboard.

  We recently launched “Sites for Restaurants” and we have some great premium themes that are more restaurant-specific and might work better for your café. Here’s a link to that page with more information:
