    I want to change the Theme colour and text colour.
    I used these
    <div style="background-color: white; text-align: left;"><span style="color: black;">
    to change the background colour of the post and text.

    I could change the theme background colour to white

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    where did you add this in? I can change the background color, but there’s no option to change the text color

    I am trying to make this change on anotherfatgirlgonehealthy.com

    this code will only allows you to change text and background colour of your post not theme (unless you have premium or business plan )

    when click to edit or write any post you will see two options Visual and HTML on top right side of the toolbar.

    click on HTML and enter this code before the blog post body.

    I have just started using word-press / working on website, please consult a Pro before implementing.

  • marytaughtyou – for further help tweaking your colours, please post in the CSS Customization forum, and explain which parts of the text you want to change. For example, to change the text colour within posts in your theme Yoko, this would do the trick:

    .single-entry-content {
      color: #b0b;
    }

    You’ll add this CSS code in the Customizer‘s CSS panel.

    Additional CSS declarations will be needed to target different parts of the page and it will be easier to help you one-on-one in your own thread.

  • hemanshugoyal – I wouldn’t recommend adding all those divs and spans to your content. Aside from adding unnecessary markup to every page and post, if you ever decide to change themes or change the colours down the road, it’ll require going in and re-editing every single post.

    Custom CSS is the right way to achieve what you’re after. Alternatively, you can choose a theme that has a colour palette more to your liking. Most newer themes come with up to 6 free colour palettes. If you tell me what colours and style you’re looking for, I’d be glad to help you choose one.

    i will share the link with you in a day or two to help me evaluate.

    for starters could help me increase size of image in the TOP POSTS & PAGES widget.

  • Great! Hope Gazette works out for you.

    for starters could help me increase size of image in the TOP POSTS & PAGES widget.

    There isn’t a good way to do that, but if you switch to Image Grid view in the widget settings, the icons will be bigger.
