Theme text removal
-
I’m just starting out. Got the site name taken care of. Now, I’ve chosen a theme, but there is a lot of text or menu items in a right column that I don’t see me using for a while. Is there some way to remove them?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It sounds like you are referring to a suidebar display. Every theme has a default sidebar display of what appears to be actual widgets but isn’t. We override that display when we go here > Appearance > Widget and select widgets, click to open, configure, click “save” and “close”.
I see the sidebar on your blog has no content and assume you have resolved your issue. if not you can choose the photo blog template.
