theme thirteen – unusal display of comment order – insect or unique feature?

    While commenting on dreamnepal’s blog here I experienced a weirdness engtech at the very least will be interested in. I was the first person and only person to comment. I commented once on the blog and went off, pulled up some more material and commented again.

    Then dreamnepal replied to my comments numbered 1 and 2 making his comment number 3 in the chain of comments. I responded again but my comment number 4 in the chain was hurled upward into the number 1 position leaving dreamnepal’s comment as the last one in the comment chain. WTF (What the fluff!)

    I suppose this “unique feature” may suit some bloggers provided they are the kind that always seek to have the last word but I found it very disconcerting and I am now wondering if it was an “insect” that I was experiencing?

    (1) Is this “unfortunate” behaviour of comment re-ordering also taking place on other blogs with the Thirteen theme?
    (2) Is this comment re-ordering behaviour being experienced in blogs with any other themes?

    I changed the time-frame to match the comments in order. It should read well for now.

    I think the main problem was that I set the time to EST in the middle of updating the site and it meant -4 hrs to the standard blog time. So, the comments posted later were timed 4 hrs earlier. It should not be a problem with the theme as long as it starts to work properly from tomorrow onwards.

    Ahhhh … I see said the poet yet to be. It wasn’t the theme: it was “thee”. :)
