theme translation
-
Hi!
I build a website in French with the Gateway theme. I purchased the customization package $ 130. With this package, I thought I had access to the CSS to translate certain words that have not been translated. For example, on post in French, it says ‘Posted On’ and ‘by’. Is there a way to fix that? I love the Gateway model, but it is mistranslated.Thank you!

Hi there! You actually don’t need the Premium plan to finish translating your theme!
The French translation for the Gateway theme is 80% completed already. Once that’s over 85%, we’ll deploy the translations. You can add new translations to increase that number here:
Once you’ve added new translations, a volunteer will verify them. And once they’re verified they’ll be deployed within 24 hours.
If you’d like a refund on your Premium plan, let me know!

I have proposed translations for some words not translated or mistranslated. I wait to see if it will be applied. Premium Plan allows me to change other elements (font, size), I will keep it.
Thanks!

Thanks! If you translate the majority of the untranslated strings, I can ping our internationalization team about getting them validated. We try to only do that when there’s a bunch of translations to validate and when validating them will definitely push us over the 85% line. :)

Ok, I have translated the majority of the untranslated strings, but both terms mean nothing to me: Title Hero and Hero Content.

Thanks so much for doing that! Those two are settings specific to this theme:
It looks like the translations of these would be confusing, but I’ve asked the internationalization team about them.
And I’ve pinged the team about getting those translations validated!

Thank you for the great service! Sorry if my English is bad. I use Google to translate my message. I understand English when I read it, but it’s more difficult when I have to write! :-) Lack of practice!
