Theme Twenty Eleven

    What has happened with theme Twenty Eleven? I have been using it for a few years on my Auto Universum blog and it looks great. I started a new blog today; Jet Age Dining. I selected the same theme and added a post. It looked just fine in draft mode. When I published, a Post-Type Category (!??) that I never selected was added at the top, and at the bottom, an ugly grey box appears showing the date and proper Category of my selection. Dates are normally shown at the top. Why is this happening in the new blog and not my old one?

    If this is an “improvement” to Twenty Eleven, I will have to look into a new theme.
