Good Morning
Sorry I’m French …

I have the theme Twenty Fourteen …

Could you help me and tell me what I need to add text to my CSS to:
– Reduce the size of my content put forward, so it does not take much space
– Give the reader the beginning of my article, or add “click to play” on the thumbnails

The image sizes for the featured content are set in the theme PHP script files, and cannot be easily overridden. You can try the following, which reduces the height of the viewport for the featured images from 576px to 400px, but if you click through your featured posts, you will see that the title block (lower left) ends up overlaying some important parts of the images. We can force the images to be smaller, but then you will end up with a large bit of gray area to the right of the images.

Go to Appearance > Customize > CSS, delete all the informational text in that window, and paste in the following custom CSS.
```
.featured-content .slider-viewport, .featured-content article {
    max-height: 400px;
}
```

I have other problems …

– The picture is not centered, so, do I have any reframe and adjust their size to the resolution?

– Is it possible to also change the size of the gray frame ?

– In this gray frame, can I put the beginning of the linked article, or at least information “click to read” or “more read” ?

@choeurhommes, the site you referenced is now using the Sight theme instead of Twenty Fourteen. If you need help with anything on the Sight theme, can I ask you to create a new thread in the CSS Forum? Many thanks in advance.
