  • Hey there!

From what I am understanding you are having some issues with the way your Twenty Sixteen theme is listing the post names on http://www.jwlw.net. If you are referring to the posts showing up on your front page you may need to adjust your “Blog pages show at most” number. This can be updated from http://www.jwlw.net/wp-admin by selecting Settings from the left hand menu, then click Reading and look for the setting “Blog pages show at most” and update that to a number larger than 1. We set that to 10 by default on your WordPress.com site but that may be different on your site.

I hope that helps with the blog post issue, but if it does not then please feel free to respond back with a little more details and we would be glad to help you get this figured out. Thanks!

Problem is back. If you go to inspect posts it shows correctly. If I go to settings then reading and change the numbers it has no effect. Do I need to go to higher numbers tried 1, 2, 3.?

  • Hi, @jwlw!

These forums are support for users of WordPress.com, and it appears that jwlw.net a self-hosted installation of WordPress.org at Bluehost. The differences between the two can be found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/.

Your question would be better suited for the WordPress.org Support Forums, which are located here: https://wordpress.org/support/.

That said, be aware that after you change the number of posts in the Settings -> Reading area, you have to scroll down and hit ‘Save Changes’. Unlike the settings on the WordPress.com dashboard, settings in WordPress.org don’t automatically save. :)

    I hope this helps!
