Theme TwentySixteen – Author Section

  Hello,

  I am having issues with the TwentySixteen theme. It does not matter if I select to choose to show the Author in the Content settings or not, it does not show the author of the post.

  Any ideas?

  Hi there, the Twenty Sixteen theme shows the author of each Post in two places. The first place is at the top left under the featured image and above the post date. The second place shows the full author bio at the very end of the post.   Let me know if you do not see it there and if not, what OS and browser you are using.

  I can see that when I go the the post page. But not in the homepage. Do you know why?

  Ah, you are entirely correct. The Author doesn’t appear on the homepage, but only in the single post view.

  The demo site, however, shows the Author on the homepage, so I’ve tagged this for Staff attention. As this is a holiday weekend, please be patient for their reply.
