Theme update destroyed my personnalisation…

    Hi,
    I just made an update of my WP Theme and it changed all my settings (formats, margins, …etc) …I am destroyed as it took me days and days to do it and I am not at all a pro in CSS…
    just a musician ;)
    any chance for me to get back my previous theme set up ?

    Hi Greg:

    It sounds like your site isn’t hosted here at WordPress.com but instead is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.

    If you had a backup service set up for your site, you should reach out to the company providing those backups to get their help in restoring your theme.

    If you didn’t have a backup service, you can also reach out to your host for help with this because some hosting providers do include backups with their hosting accounts. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and are the best ones to help you with this problem.
